Day 1 Nairobi Wildlife and Cultural Experience

An early pick-up from Malindi marks the start of your journey to Tsavo East National Park. Since departure is around 5:30 am, it’s recommended to carry a packed breakfast. As you travel toward the park, enjoy the beautiful African sunrise along the way. Upon reaching Sala Gate, you’ll make a brief stop before setting off on your first game drive.

Tsavo East is renowned for its rich wildlife, including the iconic Big Five—lion, black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard—as well as an impressive variety of bird species. The park’s sweeping plains provide excellent opportunities for photography and memorable wildlife sightings.

After an eventful morning safari, head to a lodge within the park for lunch and a chance to relax or swim. Later in the afternoon, continue with a final game drive as you exit the park and begin the return journey to Malindi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
